One of two Waddell "A" Truss Bridges in U.S.
Out of service KCS railroad bridge just north of downtown Shreveport. One of only 2 surviving Waddell "A" truss bridges in the US, the Linn Creek Bridge in Missouri being the other. Originally built in 1890 over the Arkansas River in Oklahoma then moved to Cross Bayou adjacent to downtown Shreveport in 1926. Now closed to all traffic.
