A tornado chopped a path across the KCS main line in Frierson, Louisiana.
On the night of April 27th, a tornado came through Frierson, Louisiana. The path took it across the KCS main line, which was closed as a result of downed trees and no power. Numerous trees and power lines were down. Here, building panels stripped off a barn lie askew the KCS main. The tornado passed just south of the piles of cross ties, preventing them from becoming air blown missiles. Two outhouses next to the tank car and tank were blown over.
