The tie pile is one of many between Shreveport and Converse, Louisiana, where the KCS has been performing extensive tie replacement work. Look closely and you can see extra rail laid down on the #2 and #3 tracks (to the far right). This is part of the Meridian Speedway upgrade rather than the Shreveport-Converse tie replacement project. |
