Unfortunately, gloom weather didn't cooperate with my attempt to get a good overhead shot of a KCS pipe train. But, this photo, taken in south Shreveport, shows the old loading docks at Beaird Industrial Park. Sadly, the double tracks by the loading docks are severed from the main line, as there is little activity in that section of the park. However, you can also see the new spur that was constructed last year. It is empty now, but is often loaded with aggregates trains. |
